This week the team finalized and edited the project overview as well as started research on the different materials that will be considered for our design.  These materials include: medium density fiberboard, wood, plastic, metal, glass, and hard foam.  The team is finding information on the properties that will affect the sound quality of the speaker cabinet such as the density of the material.  Also, information about the cost and availability of the material is being gathered, as the goal of the cabinet is to be cheap as well.  Once the team gathers this information, they will begin the process of deciding which two materials would be best to test.
